Valves Online offer a full and comprehensive range of pneumatically operated steam valves and ancillaries. All provide complete solutions for pneumatic isolation. Piston or angled seat valves, screwed and flanged ball valves, that will integrate into your steam systems. Our valves are versatile, offering quick installation, simplified testing and faster maintenance.
The purpose of a pneumatic actuated steam valve is to provide remote operation of open or close of a steam or condensate line. Operation is either Double Acting (DA) (where air is used to move the actuator both to open and close the valve) or Spring Return (SR) where the air is used to open/close the valve only in one direction and springs move the actuator in the other direction when the pilot air is exhausted. Remote operation is usually done via a pilot solenoid valve.
Piston or angled seat valves – Linear operation (air open spring close (NC) or spring open air close (NO). Screwed BSP (other connections available) ½” – 21/2” in both Gunmetal and Stainless Steel
Flanged & Screwed Ball valves Carbon Graphite seats with Spring Return or Double Acting Pneumatic Actuator – These valves come in both Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel. Connections Screwed BSP or Socket, Reduced Bore and Flanged PN16/40 or ANSI 150 full bore. All are fitted with heat dissipating TSM extensions and our HP Quarter Turn Rack and Pinion Pneumatic actuator.
Switchbox – High Visibility switchbox for remote indication of valve position. Optical indication and easy namur fit to actuator (fits any actuator with namur pad) options are Intrinsically Safe or Ex for Hazardous areas.
Pilot Solenoid Valves - Pilot solenoids are used to operate the actuators either remotely or locally (namur) electrically.
Local Namur (mounted on side of actuator) come in 3/2 for Spring Return and 4/2 for Double Acting in 24 VDC or 24, 110 and 240 AC.
Remote Pilot we can offer 3/2, 4/2 or 5/2 single solenoids or banks mounted on manifolds or DIN rails for panel use.
