2/2 Self acting Temperature Control.
The purpose of a Self Acting Control Valve is to provide or maintain a pre selected temperature within a system. The control system is ideal for demanding rugged areas offering reliability and low maintenance. The principal operation of the unit is the change in temperature, detected on the secondary media, at the sensor head causing the liquid in the sensor to contract or expand. This expansion or contraction forces the spindle to open or close the plug against the valve seat. The plug has an opposite thrust via a spring. The valves come BSP screwed ½” , ¾” and 1” flanged DIN , ANSI ½” , ¾” and 1”

• For heating applications the valves will be normally open and will close against a rise in temperature.
• For cooling applications the valves will be normally closed and will open against a rise in temperature.
